Hey! Good to be worth something. But, really .. I was wanting to be a little bit more :) lol

I'm not an internet heavy weight like you or Joel, but one of the reasons I don't use Facebook often or for my day job is that I haven't found them reliable in several ways.

I'm always running across a glitch, being drown with silly applications I could care less about or having so many apps to dig my way through I don't have time. I am still in a discovery process with FaceBook and it hasn't hit a home run with me yet, even though I know many like it. I also have to say that FaceBook DOES have a positive side to it, too & app's that would be usual for me to learn.

But seriously, I'm not in High School and if I'm poked, well, lets just say, I'd like to at least know his middle name. *grins* I mean, really, only FB can prevent FB STD's. (I know ... blonde humor *shrugs*)

Just sending a *hug*, Chris. The phishing/spam/dumbshit internet usage is high speed suckage. I can only imagine the number of times you've been hit now. So sorry. *more hugs*

I almost want to say, "hey! You don't know me well enough to LINK my DM's"

That avatar business is a tough one for me. Only because I'm always shy about it. Having a picture of myself up there has been difficult and a big step for me this past year. I've experienced the negatives of being stalked online & in real life, so, in many ways it's been a HUGE step for me. All my avatars are of me. Whether it's been Stripper Friday or a different era, day or month of me. I don't generally use anything other than a pic. of myself, unless supporting a cause or friend, despite it not always being easy for me.

That being said, because I get shy about it, the picture I use most frequently, with my hair covering up the most of my face is the one I'm most comfortable with. My font is real. I am real. I don't pretend to be anything different than what I am. A sometimes silly, sometimes shy, sometimes serious, always, hopefully kind, and on occasion a very *hey the lights went on*, smart kinda girl. Since I'm in the middle of another transition and positive change in my life, maybe I'll start playing with my avatars more to express that.

Not just in memory, but like an angel that walk beside you (when he's not being impish). could hear his laughter in your words. I'm so sorry for your loss, hon ... I totally agree with you. One can disagree without being ugly or filling up their need to bash whatever political stance one doesn't believe in. Two great rules in life: 1) Just because you think it doesn't mean you need to say it 2) Agree to disagree and let peace live between you.

I'm also with @TrueJerseyGirl -- I like to hear all sides, to be informed -- but when it gets ugly I tune people out. There's no room for angry words in my head, takes up too much space, ya know? *hugs*

I so get the "getting along better with the boys than the girls" thing. When I was younger, and for really, a big chunk of my life I had more "guy" friends then girlfriends. Well, until the "guy" friends fell in love with me and ruined everything. Truly, there's nothing better than a good girlfriend ...but all friends are a blessing.

So cool about you and your husband. And you're both so cute, too! (I remember the 80's pictures!)
