Some people/org doesn't want to learn or change with times...
I think the following quote has been mentioned in many scriptures (with no intention to hurt anybody but to learn)
Quote from http://www.gurbani.org/webart51.htm
It is said that one can keep a dog's tail in a straight tube and hold it there for as long as the dog lives. But it will curl as soon as you take it out of the tube! At one or other time in our lives, most of us probably heard this expression either from our parents, school teachers or others. This phenomenal world of names and forms is also like a dog's tail: its nature is to curl!

I think dotmobi is a marketing gimmick to push & pull user into mobile marketplace.
It might work but I think any company that wants to get in mobile market place can customize solutions as available in their website for mobile. Be it dotmobi, dotcom or any other dots.
This discussion brings one nice insight: Any new solution now getting developed should take mobile marketplace into account and architect/design the solutions accordingly. Multiple device and content streaming mechanism will be key aspect going forward.
Roger, this is an excellent article.

It was one of the best events I have attended in last 1 year. Excellent event management, I liked the fact that event organizer was introducing each other therefore even if you dint able to catch with everybody out there; there is a chance that they know you and you know them.
Thanks Roger for the invitation. You Rock!

in http://www.techwinter.com/2006/08/01/scoble-vs-techcrunch-pick-your-man/ on Roger Kondrat - Online Communicator
Roger,
I think comparing Scoble and Mike based on global readership of their blog is not appropriate because Mike's TechCrunch has been focusing on more of product reviews/trends/innovation in mostly USA/Europe. As soon as they start covering worldwide, I think they will have more audience.
Scoble has become a known blogger to many parts of the world after his successful stint in Microsoft. So he is bound to have more audience.
Your comparison opens a crucial question for corporation, are they planning to embrace blogging in a big way?
