in Jack Of One Trade on How To Split An Atom
The form and amount of information the human brain is fed with changes the way it is evaluated and stored. There are several changes like that in the access to information humans have had at hand and personally I don't think it is much different. For example writing is a massive change in the way information is perceived and stored, audio storage, tv these are about the same type of initially saturating changes. There are still underdeveloped human nations which are exposed to changes in information access so massive it's hard to believe and they cope with the change quite well.
In regard to the professional field deep instead broad specialization I don't really agree with that either. It's the broad common sense and fundamentals knowledge that matters in all cases. I would pick in every case a professional that has a bit less experience in the specific field but has had better achievements in other fields.
Best quality of human brain is it's short term memory ;-)

in You Know Too Much on How To Split An Atom
Very good point. There iare tons of text people leave, but the information behind it is not much and not trustworthy. TMUI (too much useless information) ;-) It's the analogue of neighbour chatting in this borderless 21st century.

There is no such thing as geek. it's just a word used by people about other people that do know things they wouldn't try to learn/understand themselves.

it's an interesting experiment asking people random questions and giving rewards. Provided it is done in large enough scale it should be successful.

I agree with Karl. Giving your login/contact details to any program/service, except the one the details are created in the first place is a bad idea least to say. Not storing data is a poor excuse for lack of security. Problem is not that you can compromise yourself through such a service. It's your head you can bash it wherever you want, but you can compromise your contacts too. I've had one of my servers hacked several months back and I have since reviewed many security issues throughly and not taking any risks especially conceptual ones.

in How late adopters get into social media on Scobleizer
"Late adopters" is a bit harsh for people not losing all of their time just to learn the latest buzz. I think you're insulting many people likely including your own family with that particular name. Still Your recession points are valid and will possibly justify some interest some ot the google traffic you receive for that keyword.
thank you nikola for your insightful comment.:O) Ophelia
