Almost all of the early Shotokan guys were at least Judo ni-dans. Just FYI.

in More things that make me happy on Shakesville
I read a number of things at the Daily Kos ... which I thought was a liberal blog.

There is a difference between hitting a nerve and getting on someone's nerves. Learn it.

Liked that one.

Anyway, I'm paying attention, after having missed all but about five minutes of the Republican convention because my elderly parents went from planning to vote for Obama to McCain supporters over Palin. They still don't like McCain, they still adore Obama. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Mossberg's writing is a lot like Pournelle's -- it is a genre and he follows the conventions of it.

Thanks for the link!

Also appreciate the link to htaccess info. I recently moved my site from one server to another, and I need to replace and update all the htaccess links.

To put it another way, this Shangri-La system should be used as a tool to help one do the right thing — not be considered the right thing itself.

I think that is an important observation.

I'll note I started at just a bit over 240 and I'm now at around 174. It has worked very well for me.

Just a follow-up.

I've posted on "best practices" at:

If you try the oil in water and taking the oil at night trick it might help with the problems you are having.

I would hope that you post your results and experiments at http://boards.sethroberts.net/index.php?board=11.0

Most people with little weight to lose find the diet much less successful and harder to tune, though some have had success.

A number of people have described the diet as "try it, if it works, then buy the book" with the follow-up comment "it worked, why should I buy the book."

I've given away three shipments of the book so far, but I know few people who have actually bought one (most in my circle just hit my wife up for one of the copies I bought).

Well, it worked surprisingly well for me. What is interesting is making the decision that you can live with losing weight.
