I remember back when there was no "release candidate" version and none of this newfangled "incremental release" crap.  You youngun's these days!  When I was a software kid we got our bits on stacks of floppies and had to wait years between cycles!  Installs took hours and hours, swapping floppies and listening to the whir of the drives ... and we LIKED IT!
