in Credit Bubble: Mortgage Crisis Spreads to Other Consumer Debt on Sellsius
Joseph -
I think the statistics quoting are to be expected, ecspecially considering the season and the recent housing collapse...those who are getting killed on their mortgage payments are going to face the same hardships in paying off other loans.
Also, have you seen the free foreclosure ebook put out by eHomeAssure? I got a mailing for it the other day and they are toting it as the 'bible' for avoiding home foreclosure. Just interested if you had any thoughts on it. Heres a link for ya: Free Foreclosure Ebook. Wondering if any of these 'housing guru' type tactics are actually feasible ...

Is it just me, or does this seem like another Truemors story? Big, bad entrepreneur releases a mediocre product. Let's face it: if any of us (with the exception of Pete, of course :) released this thing, it wouldn't see the light of day...

Diggers really remind me of whiny little brats...I have a feeling that they are going to throw a tamper tantrum and 'revolt' every time something displeases them. Sad.

in Google Acquiring Feedburner? on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
I have a feeling that this acquisition is due to Google's move into Personalized Search. If they know all of the feeds that a person is subscribing to, they can use this to further target their search results. Seems like a good move to me.

I agree with tbizzle...I haven't heard of more than 2/3rds of the startups listed above and Rose has digg that he can use to leverage his client if needed. I for one would LOVE to see real-time flame sessions in the digg comments ;)

I agree, Pete. The majority of clips that I see on YouTube are around ~30 seconds so I would have hated a 10 second pre-roll ad. Smart thinking on Google's part.

I don't think that this upgrade is available to all users yet as my Analytics account is still the old-school version. This isn't surprising though as Google is notorious for slow-rolling many of their updates.
Looking at your pictures, it looks like their new layout is awesome. I simply love how Google does their graphs and charts (these remind me of Google's Finance section and stock charts). Kudos to them for rehashing Analytics.

Yup, they are great. I've got access on my account and the new version rocks.

Well, they've been around forever with aesthetics never being their strong suit. I think redesign was more to 'fit in' with the bubbly new sites than anything else. Do you use the pro version by any chance, Pete?

Nah, I use the free one. With stats, free and fast-loading are what people want, hence sitemeter did pretty well.

Ah - I was wondering why my site was timing out while trying to fetch their javascript before...Must have had to do with the relaunch (or soon to be relaunch judging from the hideous green tables still on sitemeter.com ;)

Yeah, I noticed it taking ages to load on Mashable too. The new stats interface (from what I saw of it) seems to be a mix of improved design elements and those ugly old tables. So, the ugliness may not go away completely.

I give it a few more hours before everything settles down and the mob realizes that they just wasted five hours digging/commenting/submitting hundreds of pointless stories. Digg messed up, but this is definitely not the 'death of digg' like the stories on the digg homepage are proclaiming.

Digg's actually auto-deleting a lot of the stories that have that stupid number or HD-DVD in the title. I was messing around with submitting stories about the fiasco linking to my blog (yes, I'm guilty of trying to take advantage of the mob rule ;) and noticed that several of my stories completely disappeared. While I think that it sucks that the digg homepage is being flooded with shit stories, I think trying to censor further is just going to keep adding fuel to the fire.

This was one of my favorite features of facebook. It was a good way to kill some time and see what everyone at my school was up to. Ah well..
