Yes, I do actually follow you, and read your blog.

It's what I do in my spare time, in between speaking
or attending 4 internet marketing seminars in June,
and scheduling several 1-2 day workshops with local
businesses (teaching them ecommerce), helping to
launch 2 of my own products, and doing about 15
recorded interviews and dozens of radio shows, it's
how I keep busy.

I do follow fewer than 500 people on Twitter. It's
a way to keep up with what's going on :-)

You tell 'em Ray. Many Burger Kings and tiny coffee shops
offer free wireless... and don't even require you to buy anything.
You'd think that as cheap as Internet access is that they'd toss
that in, but I've noticed this trend at many upscale hotels lately.

Great thread Michel. I've often wonder how a copywriter gets started. I know many people in the internet marketing field do teach themselves to become average copywriters because they don't feel that they can afford top rate copywriters. I know that's practicing fales economy if you can do something better.

I do think that if you're going to create fake sample portfolios, it may as well be for a product that you have created or purchased reprint rights to. That way, sales of the item will give the aspiring copywriter an idea of how good his copy really is.
