There are too many broken links and they definitely need a syndication strategy. Plus too many "coming soon"messages.

Re: Think Before You Ning

Thanks for this post. You should see how much time it takes me to coordinate my CVS extra bucks and weekly savings.

Sheena: Thanks for linking this on your blog! I think a lot of marketing opportunities for black mom bloggers, in particular, will arise from this.

Re: It's a Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom World

Cat's right. It's all about getting into the trenches and engaging us about various products. When done correctly we're very receptive to brands.

Re: 2008/12/04/circle-of-moms/

Hmmm...if the numbers are true, then that's pretty impressive. Quantcast and Compete are always lower than actual numbers and even more so when a site is fairly new.

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - Word of mouth has changed

From a consulting perspective I think it's valuable insight, especially for those of us who deal with these sorts of issues on a daily basis.

When I saw the post, I originally couldn't put my finger on why you were doing it. But I figured it was because as a dad blogger it was just one of the marketing options you offer to companies. I was cool with that. In fact, I entered your giveaway.

Then again, I had never seen anyone with your Net notoriety do a sponsored post like this before. It threw me.

That said, I always love to hear both sides of this debate. Our medium and the way in which we interact with marketers is always in flux. I do admire you for testing the waters and taking some flack for it. I'll continue to be a reader, subscriber, follower, etc because how will we ever know what works and what doesn't if the smart ones don't give it a whirl?

Re: Who was the most influential person on Twitter for you in 2008?

I was most influenced by Guy Kawasaki this year for one very important reason. He articulated the importance of following everyone who follows you. Now, there are people who I won't follow. But, for the most part, I follow every single person who follows me. And I've found that less people "qwit" me now that I have a relationship with them. It's easy for people to dump you when you're not following them.

Jennifer James´s last blog post..Parents of Biz Kidz

Re: Jenny McCarthy: She’s Just Like You And Me

You look great! Concentrate on being you. Do you! There are mom bloggers who are way bigger than me -- lots of them. In fact, there are always going to be people better than you in life. It's important for you to concentrate on doing what you do best.

Jealousy stems from being wrapped up in self. Be happy for everyone, trust in your abilities, and move forward.

Jennifer James´s last blog post..Lung cancer?
