You do seem very enamored with perp walks. It doesn't give you pause that, as you point out, Rudy Giuliani pioneered the practice? Or that they're the very definition of gratuitous? Or that "Defense attorneys have argued for change of venue on the grounds that the perp walk has so tainted the jury pool that the defendant cannot have a fair trial in the district." (from the article you cite.)
These questions aren't meant as snark--I like seeing white collar criminals prosecuted as much as the next guy. But reading TalkLeft (see here and here) gives me pause as far as these media spectacles go.
