Dunno about the holes. I would guess so, since so much blood happens to flow...down there, like in the mouth (which is why wounds in the mouth tend to heal fairly quickly).

My boss had an interesting theory--that the "polls" that show Bush as being the favored candidate are inaccurate on purpose so that when the new electronic voting machines ignore votes for Kerry, the resulting win of Bush will look like it was in the cards already. Scary, eh?

The cute little buggers are mean bastards to each other, too. They're very territorial and like to fight. I used to watch bunches of them dive-bomb each other for the use of my mom's birdfeeder when I was a kid. It was like watching the dog fights on Top Gun.
