I watched the video and read the eulogy that you delivered too which was very touching. The photo of him at about 0:39 looks so like you Shawn! He seems like a great man and it was great to learn about him. Thanks for sharing this today.

Re: Affilorama Likes Spamorama

Yeah I've been getting this spam too. The thing that always amuses me is comments like

"Sorry to pester you again"

When they are clearly not sorry because they just shouldn't bother! Definitely one that I'll be ignoring.

Re: Questions on Video and Affiliate Marketing

Looks good Shawn. I've become more and more frustrated with all the blogs which have cut back to a partial feeds and to me it seems to go against the whole point of RSS. I do a lot of my blog reading on my mobile on the move so it's ideal to use the mobile version of bloglines and just have text to read. If I have to actually follow through a link to the site then downloading the design & images etc takes too long at mobile speeds.

I think that in one way it's a vanity thing, people want to make sure visitors click through so that they can count them in their web stats. The most popular bloggers Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki etc have no problem with a full RSS feed but I suspect it's possibly the smaller sites that are trying to force in a few more visitors that restrict things with a partial feed.

Anyway that's enough waffle but just to say thanks for moving to a full feed - it's a great move and I hope more people follow soon.

Re: Affiliate Summit Pinnacle Award Finalists | Jangro.com

Well done Scott :)

Hope to meet you in January at Affiliate Summit.

Re: Out of the Affiliate Blog List … BUMPZee! is Born | Jangro.com

Great work Scott - my only concern is if you go lots broader than affiliate marketing as the real value of the site is in the niche and that keeps it so relevant.

All the best for whatever you plan though and well done :)

Re: Out of the Affiliate Blog List … BUMPZee! is Born | Jangro.com

ah ha - Sorry I think I misunderstood but I get it now!
