in noodad » Should You Circumcise Your Son? on Noodad
Proving that every nanosecond, some shithead posts something online that demonstrates what a douchebag he is... Achopalypto. So we can expect that you\'ll raise another biggoted waste of a human life just like your dad did, right?

in noodad » The Dangerous Book for Boys on Noodad
When I was 7, my dad bought a canoe and a small gas motor that allowed us to navigate most of the lakes and streams near our house. Every weekend, we\'d put the canoe in the back of the family truckster (hanging out of course, with a flag tied to the back) and head out to explore, fish, eat sandwiches mom made and perhaps most enjoyably when I was younger, I got to pee over the side. There\'s nothing better than pretending your Lewis and Clark with your dad in a boat with worms, PB&J; and \"free peeing!\"

Guilty as charged. The wife busts my chops for this all the time! Now you too Noodad.com!?!? This is, like not driving with our arm out the window, one of those things that just seems so unnecessarily over-cautious...like the risks are being overblown by our hyper-litigation-happy culture. BUT it makes sense and we can take all the risks with ourselves we want (like using power tools without saftey goggles) – but we shouldn’t take them with our kids. As men and as dads, we\'re bound to view taking the elevator up one level as excruciatingly inefficient...but Noodad makes good points so we just need to get over it. Elevators suck...worst part - why do they always smell so stale? Shouldn’t the constantly opening doors vent out the smell of old people and farts?

in noodad » Is Chanel and Coach Really Worth The Hefty Price Tag? on Noodad
For anyone who feels they\'re financially secure enough to spend $800 on a bag, please first reassure me that you\'ve a) maxed out your 401k and IRA contributions for \'06, b) contributed healthily to your kids 529s and c) paid off any credit card debt. That done, $800 for a freakin\' bag!? She says she wants it but can she not be happy with something that costs less? I\'m not shocked by the price or by your wife\'s request...it\'s just that I know I\'m in the company of guys (mainly) and I can say that!null

Obviously! Didn\'t we all laugh at the kids with Gobots? Nicely done with the rationale though.

Sounds like a good technique. I\'ll give it a shot this evening. The arms are totally the hard part though. My son likes to splay his fingers out and cock his arm in a position that is surprisingly tough to get him to release from. I\'m trying the push the elbow up and pull the hand at the same time technique but those sleeves have darn small openings which are hard to get your hand through for the pull part. Any suggestions Noodads?

Couldn\'t agree with you more Noodad and Harry! The stuff rocks. Dunkin\'s new Smooties are a good kid-friendly option as well.

in noodad » Appropriate Move or Overreaction? on Noodad
Agreed. She\'s an actress...who ACTS. She\'s obviously a good host for the show, and the target audience obviously likes her... And she wasn’t doing porn. Unlikely that the kids watching the show will ever see these two videos. Total overreaction on PBS’s part. They should be concerned about the kids who have come to know and love her and expect to see her on TV. The show\'s supposed to be soothing. What\'s more disconcerting than replacing the host suddenly?! :upset

in noodad » Crossing Over To The Minivan Side on Noodad
We\'re a one car household (Civic too, Coupe) needing to add that all important 2nd vehicle, the Family Truckster, before our first arrives...but we\'re not ready to make the big move to minivan yet. But it\'s good to know that noodads feel like minivan design is headed in the right direction for when that day for me arrives (which I\'m sure it will). Right now, I refuse to go family sedan and my wife is anti-wagon (I keep showing her how sweet the Audi S4 Avant and Saab 9-3 SportCombi are but she just doesn\'t seem to get that THAT kind of wagon is cool!). Many guys I know have endorsed the CR-V. I like what I see - I agree that it\'s got the right mix of form and function...small enough to navigate city streets but big enough to hold plety of gear...and it looks enough like a real SUV that you can look down just a bit on the guys driving Toyota RAV-4\'s! :grin
