Still thinking about it, and not sure what it was that made this moment in someone else's life so personally compelling. Is it because Prof. Pausch is a geek and so evidently 'one of us?' Because he's a frighteningly good storyteller? Or maybe because I'm At a Certain Age and am Looking for Meaning?

I'm also verklempt, even a couple of days later.

Re: Midday round-up: Crowdsourcing, Firefox 2.0 and Mashup Camp

I've started live blogging of Mashup Camp over at http://christine.net - feel free to reference for notes. (Whew!) Based on divorce statistics, I imagine that these non-traditional financial structures need to be covered, especially since these are the folks whose complexity of college financing will require more assistance.

Re: Gary the VC Snowman

I couldn't stop laughing at this one. What ever happened to the introductory call? (Kudos to David P.) I'd rather spend 15 minutes on the phone than waste an hour-plus of both the CEO's and my time in a pointless meeting.

So I don't bring my phone into meetings...though I DO use a laptop to take notes. No human can write as quickly as a CEO talks. (Yes, I am really taking notes!) >:-)

Re: Tis the season for video holiday cards

Love your singing holiday video! So, let them follow us! It doesn't clutter up my stream, or have any impact upon my use of twitter. I never see their content.

The spam accounts and associated content will, however (a) clutter up the public stream, and (b) create some annoying extra traffic for twitter servers. But do that many folks really try to keep tabs on the public timeline?

Re: 30-Level YouTube Game Debuts

I admit it, I played the whole way through...maybe just a fad, but those 'spot the difference' puzzles have been in the weekly comics section for *how* many years...?

Re: 30-Level YouTube Game Debuts

I admit it, I played the whole way through...maybe just a fad, but those 'spot the difference' puzzles have been in the weekly comics section for *how* many years...?

Re: 30-Level YouTube Game Debuts

I admit it, I played the whole way through...maybe just a fad, but those 'spot the difference' puzzles have been in the weekly comics section for *how* many years...?

Re: What I learned from BlogHer

Lazy bum!
