What a copy-and-paste strawman load of crap.

All those immigrants listed CAME HERE LEGALLY! THEY DIDN'T BREAK THE LAW TO COME HERE. For some reason, you just don't want to understand that.

In addition, those immigrants came here TO JOIN THE US. They wanted to learn to be American. They wanted to assimilate and become American. Today's Mexican immigrants DO NOT.

The immigrants in generations past ASKED FOR NOTHING! They did not get free houses. They did not get free money. They did not get free education. They did not get free medical care. They worked for everything they got.

You don't want to see the truth. You want to support the destruction of America. Just be honest about it.

You are still simply wrong. You stated again that this woman was shot for the crime of illegal immigration. That is simply NOT true. She was shot because she was a participant in an attempt to take someone's life. No one stood up and said, "Gee, that person is an illegal immigrant, I think I'll shoot her." The person was defending their own life. Whether she was a willing or active participant in the action to attempt to murder someone is not relevant -- she was a participant. She was shot because SHE put herself in a dangerous position. She was shot because SHE chose to participate in an attempt to murder someone.

In addition, you have no evidence that she wanted to come here to work. She may have come here because she had a broken arm and wanted free medical treatment. She may have been hungry and wanted to sign up for food stamps. She may have come because her cousin told her that she could get a nice free house if she signed up in the right place. To claim that every illegal immigrant from Mexico is here to work is completely ignorant of reality.

And once again, they are invading this country. They are attempting to come into this country, break the laws, and set up their own country here. They have no desire to assimilate and join America. They have no desire to learn the traditions and culture of America -- instead they want to impose their culture and traditions on this country. That's exactly how you invade and take over a country. Once again, just because you claim it's not so, doesn't make it not true. Open your eyes and see the demands for "Reconquista" and for taking, by force, much of the southwestern United States back to Mexican rule. Look and see the demands that services and government processes be done in their own language. They ARE invading. They ARE trying to take over. I'm truly sorry that you cannot see that.

Cameron, you're clueless. You're perhaps implying your positions on others. Ms. Underestimated NEVER said that she didn't have any pity for the woman who was shot. The woman was NOT "shot in the head for coming here to work." Those statements you have made have NO basis in fact or reality. The Mexicans ARE invaders, whether you want to admit it or not. They are NOT coming here "just to work." If that were true, they wouldn't accept billions of dollars in free healthcare, housing, and food. A very LARGE number are coming to have babies here for the free benefits, again, whether you care to admit it or not.

Then you really go into total looney-land. Because Ms. Underestimated opposes openly breaking the immigration laws, SHE is somehow responsible for terrorists who attack America? What freakin' planet are you ON? That's not conservatism, that's the hallmark of today's Democrat and leftist: no responsibility for the person who commits and act, hold conservatives responsible because they're evil.

As Sonnabend mentions, actions have consequences. That's one of the hallmarks of today's conservative thought. And I don't think Mr. Goldwater would disagree with that.

He's following in the footsteps of the legend of the left, their biggest hero, Billy Clinton. Clinton was a master as utter and complete lying to everyone, everywhere. He would say whatever someone wanted to hear when he was in front of them.

Unfortunately for the left, that's harder to do today without being caught because of alGore's internet. In Clinton's campaign days, when he outright lied to one group, others didn't know about it. Everyone just thought he was being nice to them. That just doesn't work now as everything everyone says is instantly blasted around the world. Today's politicians still haven't adjusted to that and figured out how to openly lie in such an environment.

Some people (this cartoonist and the Journal) honestly hate America, no matter what they claim.

Well, Congress is supposed to represent America. With only 435 representatives, the absolute lunatics have to get their representation in Congress, I suppose...

It makes perfect sense in their minds. You see, we're evil because we work hard and have money to show for it. They don't have money to give away because they haven't won life's lottery. So, logically, since we have money and they don't, we're obligated to give it away and they're not.
