in A For Sale By Owner Website Introduces Audio Description on Go Beyond MLS
That is such a good feature. We are just getting ready to stard doing that on our own site. I'm excited to see the interest it generates.

Jay,
Congrats on Bloodhound. I agree, the writers there are awesome and I love checking in on the blog. I would take that opportunity in a minute. Now, if I only knew how to write quality compelling copy.....

in Off to Vegas for the NAR Convention on The Phoenix Real Estate Guy
Darn it. I keep on hearing about this and really wish I would have made plans to attend. I love the Venetian too, that's where we stayed when my wife and I got engaged.

Chick-o-Sticks. That's hilarious. I used to love those things as a kid. I didn't know they still made them.

Good old Rocky Point. I like that restaurant up on the hill with all the seafood. I think it's called the lighthouse. Good stuff. Make sure you grab some $5.00 Oakley's before you head back. Haaa

in Phoenix Real Estate Market: Not So Good. But be Glad You’re Not In South Florida on The Phoenix Real Estate Guy
Ouch that hurts. On a positive note, I saw on the local news tonight that new home sales were up over 4% over last month. A step in the right direction :)

in Do Yourself A Favor-Stop Advertising Your Plugins To The Whole World on Sage Blogger
That was hilarious. I'm looking to start my 1st WP blog and have been trying to absorb all the information I can. It's pretty amazing though that people actually "hack" your blog. There's got to be a better use of ones time I would think.

in Networking: Real Estate Forums on Go Beyond MLS
I'm a member of both those forums as well. REW is a great place to hang out to learn about SEO. I started working on my site about 6 months ago, and even though I have a long way to go before I get it to where I want it to be, the forum has really made the process easier, and the members are always willing to help out.

I'll let you guys work out all the kinks before I start looking into a wordpress blog. Kind of like the first year model of a new car. :)

I too wish NAR would find something else constructive to do with their time and my dues as well.

in Cramer Comments on Housing; and a NJ Realtor Group Gets Whiny on The Phoenix Real Estate Guy
Great points Jay. If we just sat around and listened to the media all day, you would think the world was going to come to an end at any second. Meanwhile 6,000 + homes are being sold in our market each month, so we might as well go out and be a part of the action. That is, before the world ends :)

in Charts and Maps and Analysis, Oh My! A Veritable Cornucopia of Real Estate Data on The Phoenix Real Estate Guy
I really enjoyed the chart. I think it's going to be interesting to watch what happens to the 30 yr fixed rate over the next couple of months now that the fed has cut rates a bit.

Wow this is good information. I am in the process of setting up my first wordpress blog and keep on hearing about BlogRush. The post was great and the interaction and information in the comments section is just as useful. I will be trying out BlogRush with my new blog for sure.

in Phoenix Real Estate: Southeast Valley Inventory Snapshot on The Phoenix Real Estate Guy
I agree Jay, a 12 month inventory is rough. I'm waiting for the day when inventory comes back down to a 6 month, or even more healthy 3 month supply. As crazy as it sounds though, I prefer this market to when you would have to write 15 contracts for your buyers just to get 1 accepted. Go figure.

in Listing of the Week! Or not… on The Phoenix Real Estate Guy
I love those type of agents when I go on a listing appointment after the listing has cancelled / expired . It sure does make my job a lot easier.
Nothing better than showing the seller how his property was portrayed on the MLS by the "other agent," who tried to sell his house.

Great interview. I haven't taken the time to consider web 3.0 or 4.0 for that matter. Exciting times lay ahead for sure. I'm just excited to get my 1st real estate site usable so I can then start concentrating on the world of blogging.

I can't believe someone did that to your sign. Bad luck for sure. By the look of your Jeep, it looks like you had fun anyway.
