Congrats on Bloodhound. I agree, the writers there are awesome and I love checking in on the blog. I would take that opportunity in a minute. Now, if I only knew how to write quality compelling copy.....

Darn it. I keep on hearing about this and really wish I would have made plans to attend. I love the Venetian too, that's where we stayed when my wife and I got engaged.

That was hilarious. I'm looking to start my 1st WP blog and have been trying to absorb all the information I can. It's pretty amazing though that people actually "hack" your blog. There's got to be a better use of ones time I would think.

I'm a member of both those forums as well. REW is a great place to hang out to learn about SEO. I started working on my site about 6 months ago, and even though I have a long way to go before I get it to where I want it to be, the forum has really made the process easier, and the members are always willing to help out.

I'll let you guys work out all the kinks before I start looking into a wordpress blog. Kind of like the first year model of a new car. :)

I too wish NAR would find something else constructive to do with their time and my dues as well.

Great points Jay. If we just sat around and listened to the media all day, you would think the world was going to come to an end at any second. Meanwhile 6,000 + homes are being sold in our market each month, so we might as well go out and be a part of the action. That is, before the world ends :)

I really enjoyed the chart. I think it's going to be interesting to watch what happens to the 30 yr fixed rate over the next couple of months now that the fed has cut rates a bit.

62 month supply. Ouch!!!!

I agree Jay, a 12 month inventory is rough. I'm waiting for the day when inventory comes back down to a 6 month, or even more healthy 3 month supply. As crazy as it sounds though, I prefer this market to when you would have to write 15 contracts for your buyers just to get 1 accepted. Go figure.

I love those type of agents when I go on a listing appointment after the listing has cancelled / expired . It sure does make my job a lot easier.

Nothing better than showing the seller how his property was portrayed on the MLS by the "other agent," who tried to sell his house.
