Thanks for the post! I agree that coordinating it isn't very crucial from an evangelism standpoint, but I DO think it will help encourage teens to actually do it because it helps build momentum and makes teens feel like they're a part of something bigger. Guess we'll find out in February, though, huh? :-)

Dude, I love the design of this site! Did you design it yourself or purchase it from somewhere? It's slick!

I use Google Docs to easily share files between my MacBook Pro (mostly church use) and my iMac at home (mostly home use). I'll start using it share some files with my administrative assistant, too, since right now I have to print out new copies for her everytime I update.

Umm, this is new? The youth ministry I interned at back in 1999 did it this way, and the youth ministry I currently lead does it this way, too, for our sr. high ministry.

(Just so ya know, the relaxed and non-threatening atmosphere of a home is perfect for pre-saved teens. The model works great on all levels.)

Personally, I hold to:

-- Unconditional election
-- Unlimited atonement
-- Unsure about irresistable grace. I go back and forth on this one myself.
-- Perseverance of the saints

I know that doesn't help you at all, but that's where I'm at.

Thanks for the post! Just thought I'd clarify that the site isn't intended to be for youth ministry only -- there are categories for many ministry "niches." Right now it's over-populated with youth ministry stuff because it's mostly my blog readers who are using it. I'm trying to spread the word to worship leaders, pastors, ministry tech people and others too, but youth workers are obviously my primary audience right now.
