I do need to mention that the Extreme Diet Coke and Mentos Experiment debuted this summer on Revver, not YouTube. As a matter of fact, Fritz and Stephen specifically requested that folks NOT post their videos on YouTube because EepyBird derived no compensation for the views. If you'll look at the EepyBird site, you'll see the original "Revverized" video: http://www.eepybird.com/dcm1.html. We did approach Coke about advertising on the video at the time, but they were not interested. Mentos, however, bought out the entire inventory.

Re: 2008/04/04/rabbit-bites/

This is very exciting. We're obviously big fans of the bunnies at Revver, and we're thrilled about this, as well as about their regular feature on Salon. We've been delighted to work with the guys at Blendtec -- they're terrific, and we're thrilled that they've been so successful. One thing to note: we've also helped them sell blenders by using our ad serving technology to link to Amazon, so it's not just been about earning ad revenue on Revver -- they've actually moved a few blenders in the process.

Re: 2008/06/09/youtube-advertising/

Hi, Adam: We've actually had this in place at Revver for about 8 months, and it works well for those creators who have the ability to take advantage of it. In Revver's model, they get to keep their half of the ad revenue split, and earn a commission on top of that for selling the ad.

Re: Revver Wordpress Plugin Test

Thanks for the props, Tim. We're excited about this new tool and glad you're trying it out. The video is very funny, BTW.

Re: Our Year-End Panel & Mixer Tonight: Video Entertainment in 2008, and, Well, David Caruso

I spoke with Mr. Caruso, and he was there with some business partners because he is interested in digital media. He didn't divulge exactly what he's working on, but it's not surprising -- we've had a number of inquiries at Revver from actors/writers/producers/directors who are interested in starting their own digital production entities.

Re: Our Year-End Panel & Mixer Tonight: Video Entertainment in 2008, and, Well, David Caruso

P.S., the event was terrific, as usual.
