in The Enterprise 2.0 Recovery Plan on Andrew McAfee's Blog
Nice post, Andy! While reading this I question myself: Could this approach also apply in general? I couldn't find a reason why not. So, I think this plan could also be a general e2.0 adoption plan (of course 'urgency' helps adoption).

in Choosing a wiki for collaborative curriculum design on Open Education Research
I appreciate the discussion. This is an important decision for our project team. Since we envision the entire curriculum being developed, enhanced, delivered, and constantly improved through the wiki site it is important to go with a company or platform that will still be around in ten years.

in A Quick Note on Aronil
Well I love messing around with photoshop (graphics and photomanipulation)... =D But I have no idea how to do web designs, mainly due to my lack of knowledge in html, java, or any other programming language for the matter. I'd certainly like to learn but I guess I'll stick with blogspot for now... Haha I was wondering where you learned your skills in web designing?

in Should Knowledge Workers Have Enterprise 2.0 Ratings? on Andrew McAfee's Blog
It would be really if we could do this. But doesn't KM research show KPI's hurt knowledge sharing? Would measuring E2.0 contribution do the same? Furthermore there have been some interesting experiments trying to measure social media ROI. But it's still hard to do this objectively. Will the comparison between my e2.0 contribution and that of my colleague be fair? Can't we 'just' ask for stories and try to quantify them? Ask employees to tell managers how the tools helped them or others become more productive.

Du och jag ser fan likadana ut. Bara en sån sak.
Har hört en heldel om Spotify och nu börjar det nästan göra lite ont i kroppen av att man inte är med om det senaste.

in Serena is Serene about Enterprise Facebook on Andrew McAfee's Blog
Thanks a lot for keeping us posted on this topic! This is very interesting to follow (and hopefully do in the near future...). I like the open approach Serena follows. However, I'm interested what they do with the really confidential stuff. I don't believe in total transparency. Do they have data/information they store and share on a traditional (internal, behind firewall) Intranet? Is that still on "the old intranet" as mentioned above? And what kind of data/information is that?

in Martin, Malcolm & Obama? What Do These 3 Men Have in Common. . . on Political Intersection
Regarding the question as to why "African-American,?" I think that this is a simply anthropological taxonomy. We are African, because we have a common lineage from our ancestral homeland, Africa. This is very important, for it tells of our common cultural, tribal, linguistic and religious heritage. This is not just true of Africans, but also of other immigrant populations. For example, we commonly refer to Chinese emmigrants as Chinese-Amaricans, to Japanese emmigrants as Japanese-American, etc. There would be simply outrage if either of these emmigrant populations were referred to by their skin hue (Yellow). Then, we are Americans in the final analysis, with common ideals, values goals and ambitions. The most important cultural distinctions between Americans are income, education and political party. Where these are equal Americans are equal. And, the perpetual attemtp to separate Americans based on the pseudo-science of "race" is artificial and anthropologically flawed. Skin color has only served to divide, not distinguish people. This was established as an easy way to segregate and subjugate human beings of vastly varied aptitude and accomplishment. These distinctions should be abolished by all educated electics. America is a nation whose greatness depends upon the unity of its people. One race, the human race, under God.
