I had never heard of this film and when I saw the trailer, I swear i thought it was some kind of African Docu on a marginalised group of people...... I was completely taken aback when i saw the ship!

Coooooooooool!

Looks like 2009 is going to be an awesome years for Sci Fi!

Hmmm, sounds like a wet blanket to me. But troy is probably right, there is more of a tendency these days for movies to move faster, but then again, thats perhaps just progress. In this day and age we all move faster, work harder and are exposed to more information in the space of a few months than our grandparents were in their whole life...

for better or worse, it sounds like it may be just what films are like these days....

Neil Miller Thanks. I tried to stay away from anything spoilery in my review. There will be plenty of time to discuss that once the film actually hits theaters. For now, the point is that I saw it and I was rocked to the core by it. It is likely to have a similar effect on you.

Personally I am glad that I was at neither premiere, I really want to wait until the time is right to see this film. i.e. When the kids are at school and the cinema is EMPTY! that way I dont have to worry about people talking and throwing popcorn during the most anticipated movie EVER!

in Battlestar Galactica Series Finale - What Did You Think? on /Film

An amazing show and an amazing ending. yes we can find flaws but get some perspective, even a bad episode of Battlestar was 100x better than any other crap on TV.

Long may it live in Syndication, I hope!
