Seriously, enough with the self-promoting so-called experts and their panels. If they had anything valuable to say, they'd keep it to themselves and try to capitalize on it. Let's stop treating these guys like some breed of celebrity. They are people trying to make a buck, and they are speaking within that context.

Given the cornucopia of immoral, unethical, and downright dirty ways to attain wealth, I'd rather not make that assumption and focus on the material accomplishment itself.

I don't really think people should laud the acquisition of exorbitant amounts of wealth. Perhaps what he did to earn that wealth is an accomplishment, but becoming rich is not really something that needs a round of applause. Am I wrong?

News feed and search.

What is Facebook going to do with the News Feed? My hunch is that the big announcement revolves around News Feed and search.

The real question that needs answering is this: "Did anybody miss it?"

Some bartenders do not deserve 20%. When a beer goes for $7 and the bartender takes forever to get to you, waiting on people who have come after you, they don't need $2 per drink for simply opening the tap. I always base my last tip to the bartender on my first drinks. I used to wait tables, so I know how hard it can be to earn a tip. But bartenders are very rarely working as hard as a waiter, and some of them act like emperors.

I almost never go below 20% for a waiter, and rarely go above 30%. For a bartender, my range spans lower than 10% for greater than 50%, as the variability in their service has a greater impact on my enjoyment of the night.

Slide has been violating their TOS for a long time and Facebook always held their hand through it. Wonder what made the difference this time? Press?
