Yes, I also tought that everyone has dry earwax only and it somebody has wet earwax then its a disease. Seems that it was my misconception. And this is a news to me that wax saves us from bacterial infection.

Supposedly, wet earwax predominates in Africa and Europe, but dry earwax predominates in East Asia.

Um... I didn't get a prostrate exam for my pre-college physical.... Are you sure it was for medical reasons??? =)

Prostate exam was on the official checklist, however I'm guessing most doctors only provide it when voluntarily asked for.
My doctor at the time actually commented out loud, "Wow your college is a thorough organization."
