I agree completely. So many people think drinking bottled water is more healthy or more pure, but really it's not that much different than if you get a good filter. The amount of money you save and the harm to our environment and economy that you prevent makes it more than worth a small investment.

I think a lot of the effort with this logo is to make it seem less like a massive corporation and more like a friendly group of people.

The all-capital letters implies some kind of dominance, like our shadowy overlords watching over and controlling us. Using lower-case letters implies a more friendly atmosphere. The font is now nice and friendly rather than big and powerful, and the light blue helps that out. I think the point of this is that it might help improve the public's opinion of Wal mart as some power-hungry corporation.

But I do agree with you, it does seem overly simple, and not too much that'll really stick. The star is such a basic shape that it will take a LOT of branding to tie that to Wal Mart.

I'm left-handed, but I tend to forget that I am until someone mentions it or I have to use something that's meant specifically for right-handed people. All of my family is right-handed except for my uncle.

However I do a lot of things right-handed, including throwing and playing guitar. I really developed a strong mix of both hands.

Great advice. A lot of people really are forced into a specific major and end up hating it a lot. Playing the field a little bit can really help you find the niche that's right for you.

That's a pretty cool experiment you tried out. Getting up early is pleasant for enjoying the morning, but it's hard to adapt getting up so early to college life.

I get up at 6:45 for work during the summer, but during the school year I sleep in until about 11 if I don't have class. Transitioning between the two is a nightmare.
