What a crock! I hate when people try to push their agendas on other people. Parents dealing with kids who have ADHD are so vulnerable to this kind of stuff. Thanks for exposing the undisclosed conflict of interest.

I just left a comment on the digg thread. I was so furious reading all of the comments from people who thought that smacking a kid was really an alternative. I was shocked at the ignorance of most of the people on that thread. Thanks for pointing it out. I'm interested to hear what you have to say.

I have two kids, one with ADHD, both are teens and I have never laid a hand on either of them. They are both loving, resepctful and well behaved. They are not perfect by any means, but they wouldn't be any better off if I had hit them to prove my power over them. I parent thought respect, not violence.

That being said, I do have a sense of humor and I thought the clip was funny. A bit of commic releif for a tough subject.

My first time reading your blog, and I love it. It is GREAT to hear from an adult with ADHD as it gives me insight into what life might be like for my kid.

Glad that BlogHer has brought us together (even though we didn't meet in person...did we?). That's what it is all about.
