Here are a few suggestions for increasing subscribers:

1) Use the somewhat universal subscribe button that looks like a dot with two quarter circles coming out of it. It's getting to the point now where that button has been standardized.

2) Where there are links for "blog, archives, contact" etc., put a link to "subscribe". It will flow with the rest of the links, and will give readers another way of finding your subscribe link.
