In german a GPS receiver is simply called "GPS-Maus", but that doesnt mean its a computer mouse with gps functionality.

Gossip, I understand u have some Dreamserver "RaQ 4r" in mind (thats the one they offer for $400). I don't know about traffic/storage u need, but did u consider to rent some dedicated puretec.de server ? Traffic/storage is a bit less than the RaQ 4r, but perhaps it fits (and its about EUR100/month)
