And what a beautiful land it is! It looks very Gretsch like but aircraft grade aluminium? Yowzers! I've seen a few manufacturers starting to experiment with this, I like the chrome version, not sure about those rivets though? What do you reckon Ovidiu?

I have mixed feelings, firstly I love Led Zep they are one of my favourite bands even today and for Joe to say their sound is reminiscent of early Zep is quite exciting. If you listen to the way Joe's sound has changed over the last few albums he has dropped the delay drenched super distorted tone for a really raw tube overdrive sound like in the 70's. Just listen to Professor Satchafunkilus. However, Sammy Hagar is singing... that is really where the comparisons have to end, he is way to cheesy and will never come close to Robert Plant. His latest solo single is just terrible.

hear hear! I'm the same Ovidiu, I do it because I am passionate about guitars and love finding new products related to guitars. I'm a closet guitar shop owner that never had the balls to open one :)

Microtonal music is not a new concept its just that western music has been standard for so long we forget about scales used in Asian music going back hundreds of years that fall outside of the standard chromatic scale that we use. I suppose really the possibilities are endless but at the end of the day our western ears like diatonic scales?

It is kind of an online version of Guitar Pro but I tried Back in Black and it was using an Acoustic Guitar sound, oh dear... I wonder if you can change that?

Damn, thats a pretty impressive list of gear!! If it wasn't for the mortgage and impending birth of my first child I'd be spending my wages like mad on guitars but as it stands I'm just going to have to be happy with what I have and put a little away every month until I can afford a Suhr Modern... maybe in 5 years?!

I actually sang happy birthday to Joe on monday night at a meet and greet which was very surreal! He looked a little embarrassed but nobody likes having happy birthday sung at them!

Oh I meant my playing versus Guthrie, there is a pretty huge difference there unfortunately! I think she thought it was funny calling him Banjo man little does she realise he plays Banjo on "The Feeling" and "The Phone Call" on Flying in a Blue Dream! so the jokes on her!

You're making more progress than me! I played my wife my recent Larry Carlton jam track solo, then made her listen to Guthrie Govan's. She said they both sounded the same... Ah well I suppose it was meant as a compliment, but seriously! She also tried to wind me up today by calling Joe Satriani "Banjo Man"...
