in Would You Pay to Make Your Favorite Sites Ad-Free? on Marketing Pilgrim
As long as ads are tasteful I would rather not pay and most the time when they are not its not in my "favorite" sites. Ads make a lot of resources free and can be helpful sometimes.

in Google Search Advertising Goes Mobile - New iPhone and G1 Targeting on Marketing Pilgrim
I think the conversions are probably low for these mobile ads, there needs to be a lot more development before they are really ready.

I really like yahoo but I really hate how often you have to opt out of features which they know piss us off by using email instead of your account manager.

in Obama’s Staff Need a Lesson in Reputation Management on Marketing Pilgrim
I don't really think the photos mean anything except for a disrespect for clinton, kinda points to how stupid this guy is though which should maybe bring some doubt on him to as what kind of person he is.

in MySpace Exec: Embrace Fan Networks on Marketing Pilgrim
I don't think companies will have a choice, they will have to figure out ways to incorporate these pages in their sites or they will just reap negatives. There is also potential for them to turn it to their advantage.

in Stop Counting Your Blog Posts on Marketing Pilgrim
I think too often bloggers don't take a second to think who would want to read these posts? so they end up with tons of blog posts, sometimes even decent quality but no audience.

I think mobile ads wont be really worth it or effective for a couple years at best, they have a lot of refining and customer base they need first.

in Is Your Brand on Twitter? It Should Be! on Marketing Pilgrim
I am really not a twitter fan not because any of the SEO or other benefits but just because I don't like the orignal concept. Its essentially a overhyped "status" section of facebook.

Blogs are blogs, and news media/journalism is something different. Both have positives and negatives. Certainly "real" journalism is not immune from bad writing, it has a lot of pitfalls and coverage issues.

in Facebook Growing by 600,000 Users a Day on Marketing Pilgrim
Yea a lot of the users are fake accounts or made for other purposes. Facebook is being very successful anyhow and once they work out some of the monetization issues will become a very profitable company.
