in Don’t Waste Your Time With Blogrush, It Won’t Work For Your Blog on Jim Kukral
"Bloggers don’t want, or crave “more traffic”. Whoever built this doesn’t understand bloggers"

I think if you did a survey you'd find a lot more bloggers that DO want more traffic than those that don't. Why would any blogger NOT want more traffic?!!

in John Reese & Blogrush Want To Resell Your Data on Jim Kukral
One question I asked was “what is Blogrush going to do with my stats they collect from me using this widget?”

Personally I don't care what they do with stats they collect - they're providing a service and they should reap any benefits they can while they're at it. If they don't succeed, the users all lose out, so I don't see why their users would want them to fail or not make money!

It seems I can't go to anyones blog that doesn't have either DealDotCom or BlogRush as their last post today! :D

Cool! I used to have a Wii - they're pretty good fun when you're got people around!

I did get bored of it after a while though and sold it =)

in 2007/09/02/wordpress-4-column/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
Any number of columns will work, as long as most of them are crap the user will ignore (like vertical banners). One content column, one navigation/links column, and that's all the user needs/wants.

in Linky Goodness, August 31 on Marketing Pilgrim
"Lots of people use Google: but lots use more than one search engine"

"lots" is a bit vague. I suspect it's a very small percentage compared to those that use just one (and just Google, at that!)

in Give Out Some Link Love and Remove NoFollow on Instigator Blog
Using nofollow seems completely pointless. Spammers don't care whether you follow or not, and will still spam your site. They'll just keep increasing they amount of spam they post to make up for the nofollowers. It would only work if 100% of people did nofollow on comments, and that's just not going to happen, because some of us like sharing the love :)

in Dot TV- More Keywords Rich Domanains? on Vlad Zabblotskyy - A politically Incorrect Blogger
Even thought these domains are not cheap, actually it looks like they are among most expensive ones, there is very good chance to find a “keyword rich” domain name.

Makes sense - nobody wants them, and they're expensive, so few are sold. The problem with any non domain that isn't .com, there's a real danger of telling people your domain and them just remembering the "name" part, and ending up at someone elses site!

WTF!!

I can understand leaving your phone at home for a day, but this seems a little extreme!
