Can you imagine if we had actually rationed for this war and stayed without a deficit? How much would the American public appreciate the war (or even pay more attention) if they had to ration or even if there were a draft? Just my two cents...

Re: 6 classes every well-rounded person needs

How about a nutrition class? Or maybe this could be incorporated into their P.E./homemaking class. So many kids these days (as well as adults) are overweight, and it affects everyone's healthcare costs.

Re: spend less than you earn - the wrong way to think

I love postings like this because they motivate me to do more! I think especially at this time of year, people are feeling like cleaning out their homes, so it helps if they can make money in the process (by selling or donating and using the donation on their taxes!).

Re: guest post: how paying attention to your wallet can improve your financial outlook

This is a great idea, but where do I keep business cards from my network? I have so many business cards in my wallet and I constantly find myself giving others copies of or numbers from business cards in my wallet. Any suggestions?

Re: developing a millionaire mindset

The mastermind set is so important. When I deal all day with (gasp) "Regular People," I sometimes feel a bit inadequate and like I need the glamorous lifestyle, just a little. Then, I come back to the PF Blogs and I feel all better!

Re: how to talk to your teenager about personal finance

What a great idea. I think I'll start one up for my son this week. Do you have any testimonials or know anyone this worked for? Companies in mind?

Re: how to talk to your teenager about personal finance

Thanks for the information, guys (especially Steve and Bubelah). Now I just choose to make my laziness here in PF blogs, where I can veg out and learn something too! I don't leave space in my schedule to be lazy, and it works out for me.

It's funny, there's a guy at work that's obsessed with Buffy, too. You guys should talk. He watched Buffy for 14 hours on a flight to Japan....argh.

Re: giving gifts in the office

I HATE office gifts. They always approach you in front of a group of people and ask loudly. It's uncomfortable!

Re: job jumper tip #1: create a WIDD file

We call this an "I love me" file at work. We have to do yearly performance reports. It makes it easiest if we have already been keeping good track...in a personal file.
