Well friends,

After "firing up my mind" yet again and "gyrating on it" for a while and thinking about "linking all my knowledge" together", I thought of a great "bundled package" for just over $900.

I would love to have MindJet's MindManager Pro 6 with customised dashboard maps for analysis of my workload and progress/status reports on projects and group project reviews done by Gyronix's Result Manager and then have the capability to link all my knowledge together and keep all my ideas in one place with KnowledgeLink.

This is really a great MindManager bundle!

Sorry to say that my "Magic 6" add up to $2005.

They would be:

MindManager KnowledgeLink at $584

ResultsManager Vista Professional Edition — $285

For a sub-total of $869, then to ensnare screen-shots of my projects and create a video of them I'd use Camtasia Studio SnagIt at $319 for a sub-total of $1,188 for 5 products.

I would then throw in an "effervescing" annual subscription of $17 to Visual Bubble for a grand-total of $2005 for 6 "Magic Products"

Hello friends.

Well, after struggling along during the last ten days or so, I have finally finished my screencast demonstrating MindManager from a users point of view.

I downloaded the trial copy of Camtasia Studio but found that the learning curve was so steep that it would have taken me a couple of weeks to fathom out how to use it effectively. So I fell back to to an old favourite, Instant Demo, which I have used in the past for screen-capture but have never used to make a (feature-film length) movie.

After cleaning up unwanted frames I was surprised that the final flash-movie, after embedding a few background music files, was almost 21 mb. I then thought of inserting a voice introduction but found that the quality of the microphones I have is awful so I decided to do a TTS conversion. Everything went OK until I ran the movie. The new sound introduction file ran perfectly, but my movie stopped short by about 12%, apparantly their seems to be a maximum file size for the flash player of about 22 mb (confirmed on 4 different computers, three OS). To get around this problem I incorporated the voice introduction as a separate flash file (with control) into the htm page.

Along with the final MindManager Maps, I now have a total package of about 24mb.

My big question is: How do I upload this 24 mb package to contest@notetalkers.com ?

Congratulations are due for Note Talker's fantastic MindManager contest and to all those who participated.

Just a slight problem with the links to the winner's entries, all links ended up on the 34167lunni#main page.
Could you please give us the titles and numbers of the winning entries?

Hi Sid,

My RSS feed reader, Snarfer, lists feeds in alphabetical order (I'm sure it is similar to most). So, in order to have the RSS feeds for Note Talkers blogs and the comments contiguous, could you change the name of the RSS Comments feed from "Comments for Note Talkers" to "Note Talkers Comments".
This would save users the hastle of having to change the name manually.
