Finally, someone willing to be honest about the ridiculous state of the CCM sound. Thank you!

2.) Finally, the first Third Day album I'm looking forward to since, well, their first.

CH

Re: Vinyl

I remember announcing to my dad a few years back, "I heard vinyl is coming back!" As a record producer and former drummer to such greats like Janis Joplin and Phil Keagy, he sagely replied, "Son, it never left."

Great read--thanks.

CH

Re: Jim Wallis: Welcome!

Sorry to interrupt the thought flow here (wonderful!), but I'm trying to track down a book that Jim did the forward for. As I recall it was written by a younger man and was largely based on reaching the poor. The cover was very hip, post-modern and aimed at the 20-30 something crowd. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry to be so vague).

CH

Re: Five Articles to Challenge the Way You Blog

Now, this was a post (and links) worth reading! I am definitely passing this post on. I found it extremely helpful and share much of the articles' enthusiasm for the use of blogs in small business.

Because my "products" are CDs and books, the blog is PERFECT when it comes to updating fans about our tours or writing developments. In fact, I've converted ALL of my sites from static, stationary web spaces to active blogging communities where I HIGHLY encourage people to leaves comments and join in discussions by posting questions in the majority of my posts.

I really appreciate you taking the time to put all this together and summarize the links.

Blessings!

CH

Re: Writing about Faith, Aliens, and Winnie the Pooh

Mark, thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't aware of it and have promptly opened a new tab with an expectant mind. Cool!

And as to your comment on my site (thanks!): I hear ya. May we be a generation that does more than just gawk at the misfortunes of our fellow man. May we confront our own lethargies to carry the burdens of others.

CH

Re: Baptism = Celebration!

One of the most wonderful photographs I have seen in years.
