I will say that I fear &lt;i&gt;some&lt;/i&gt; people are  are quick to dismiss dumb ignorant Christians for being believers in this day and age, while at the same time giving a pass on Islam- out of fear of being seen as unPC. It doesn't help when this &lt;a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-412614/Charles-wants-multi-faith-coronation-service.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;tourist attraction (Prince Charles)&lt;/a&gt; declares he wants to be a 'defender &lt;b&gt;of &lt;/b&gt;faith' not the defender &lt;b&gt;of the&lt;/b&gt; faith.  That's throwing out a lot of history, which isn't something, Sikhs, Muslims, Jews or anyone else has &lt;i&gt;asked&lt;/i&gt; the govt/monarch to do.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Having said all that, the premise of your comment, and/or the efficacy of  American unilateralism  fighting the GWOT alone or w/ "tough talk" is a logical as well as actual failure.
