I'd list a long list of similar items you wrote Mo, but I'd add a few...
Awesome extended family.... you guys are great and we miss ya!
Your blogs, and writing style... look, to dabble here a bit, its really easy to be busy and consumed with so many mundain everyday crap things. But you find a way to reach out to us all at least through words and your writing, keeping us all entertained, smiling, occasionally sheding a happy tear with you, and sharing in awesomeness of things you like with us (MAN BSG ROCKS!). Day in and day out we go to our maybe not so glorious jobs, but STILL you reach out with your writing style, to make at least one more moment not so crappy (i.e. I'm sitting at work, coming from a meeting where you wonder how its possible people think the way they do... and I come across President Palmer being resurrected only to be capped again and Jack Bauer busting out of prison to witness it all)... it turned the frown upside down.
Also, because time slips by and we may not keep in touch, you share with us your happenings in your life that we all want to be a part of more often... it makes it seem like we did!
So I say thanks to you, for doing the work us others are too lazy too do and often find a way NOT to do it, where you find a way to do it. THANKS for all that you give to us, to brighten our lives, thanks for sharing the moments of little Lyla with us when we weren't there...Happy - Thanksgiving to you, Jina, and Lyla... and of course THE PUPPIES!!! =)

Great question.... and you know how the Cap'n cant turn down a question aimed at him!!! =)
So the new Knight Rider... saw the remake pilot episode (all of it, yeah I saw through it all)...
Saw the reports it was picked as a series and the producer pulled a 'we understand heroes is not very good so we are really going to remake the show' referring to the pilot that had high hopes but seemingly reports did not fare it well on the to be developed Knight Rider series, which was good news cause the pilot SUCKED MAJOR STINKY EGGS...
So now we have the TV series... and dear lord IS THIS SHOW ULTIMATE TRASH OR WHAT!?!?!. I thought Bionic Woman was bad?!?!?! That was 10 fold better than this show, at least Jaime jiggled when she ran.... Kitt is cool lookin when he's in normal mode, but when he does his really bad (and I mean REALLY bad) transformer morph, its beyond silly stupidness, coupled with the really bad acting, stories, and everything associated with this show is so awful it makes you wonder how in the HELL Journeyman got cancelled (Mike started it Jina not me... gah Journeyman cancelled CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE IT!?!?!... ok, I'm calm again).
They have like 50 main charecters...why? Cause its trashy to do so and they want it really hard to like anyone but the eye candy?!?! The only reason this show is remotely successful on any level is they try REALLY hard at being a bit Bay-Watchish, they always go to the beach, or a party at a big house, somewhere something that has tons of flighty girls wearing skimpy clothing. Its probably the only draw. Its a total dissapointment too Val Kilmers (who?) performance as Kitt... they originally signed him (as 2nd choice btw) to be a more sarchastic Kitt like his witty character Chris Knight (hmmm a distant cousin of Knight industries?!?!?!) from Real Genius (greatest movie EVER made btw), but he doesnt go anywhere near what could be entertaining, and just adds to the overall let down of the show (seriously, greatest movie ever made!!).
People and old fans were amped to see the remake done right, I guess BSG really set the tone that remakes can be an amazing trade-up from the old show, unfortunately the new Knight Rider is not that show, and I'm not waiting to see if the A-team is re-envisioned into a better show, since it seems NBC it focused on old glory it keeps missing the mark on...

in DVD Review: Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow on Pop Critics
Thanks for the input but I'm thinking you might also like black licorice as well since we are on total opposite sides of the fence here, as I couldnt disagree more even though I am a HUGE DC fan. Doomsday was poorly done in almost every aspect of an animated film, and for all of the hype of New Frontier, the animation should of and could have been much better as well as having a story that didnt begin until almost the last 2 min of the Green Lantern show (which is what it turned out to be).
I do agree however that Gotham Knight was REALLY well done, the various animation types, stories, and tie-ins were spectacular. Additionally having Kevin Conroy voice Batman simply sold the part, since he set the bar on voicing Batman form the Animated series.
I think that Marvel has the current edge on animations so far, but thats that Capn's take... =)

New Frontier stood out to me because it didn't have Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman dominating the movie, it gave spotlight to over looked heroes (Flash, GL, Atom, and the Martian).
Marvel's animation is shifting more and more in to manga style art with each series, The Spectacular Spiderman, Fantastic Four: WGH, and this new Ironman Armored Adventures; i see it in the most, and slightly in the DTV releases. I don't dislike the stories but i'm not to thrilled with this new take on anime style application to comics.
I still a fan of the 90's marvel shows, just like DC animations still hold a comic feel animation wise, which i why i like them.

Ok so who woulda thought ANYTHING coulda sucked worse than the trash show Bionic Woman?!?!?! But there is something out there that does... Knight Rider... wow... its unbelievable how much this show REALLY blows.... so you know I'm watchin it next week for sure!

I watched 5 minutes of this show and it was awful! I think the problem is just bad acting. I'ts too bad, a revamping of Knight Rider could have been cool. I also thought a revamping of Bionic Woman could have been cool as well, but they really got off track on that one. The plot was bad on that show. The acting was pretty good however. Too bad. I would rather watch a really good show like Burn Notice then either of these bad revamped shows. Burn Notice is well done, has a good plot, fast cars, spys, mysteries to unravel, bad guys to put down and excellent acting and characterization. Its refreshing really! I like to see hero's kick the bad guys hard!
