I have suggested many times at meetings (either art school or at the centre) that we could start the Scottish version of the Inclusion Trust from East Lothian. We have the expertise to be able to do it.

in Courmayeur 2007 - we made it! on Jonesieblog
Well done Robert – I am sure that you had a great week away and that all of the staff and pupil’s enjoyed the experience. Although some people might think your mad to take such a large group away. I, like you, believe in the huge value of outdoor and residential education in the development of young people. I’m sure the snowboarding / skiing was great as well! See you soon, Ollie.

Great post Robert – Like you I wish a new about all of these things when I started blogging. I was thinking that maybe we should make a resource section on the exc-el site? We could include on-line handouts like this, copies of presentation screencasts etc.. What do you think?

Good luck with this project Robert – If you can pull it off and just get 50% of the Math Teachers in East Lothian Sharing ideas I think you will have succeeded in your goal. Imagine if we could get every teacher (regardless of subject) to contribute one idea or classroom successes every week (or even month) think how much new and evolving practice we would be able so share within East Lothian and the wider education community.

Just a quick note to say that I’m really enjoying this discussion! It’s the sort of dialogue that we need to have – lets hope that we are able to tease out some of the finer points.
