in NH: Open-carry parade float? on Free State Blogs
Yeah, it should be done on the grounds of anti-gun UNH in Durham which, contrary to state law, prohibits students' rights to defend themselves and others by legally possessing firearms.

Excellent column, but don't forget the 1992 Boston Fed study that "proved" lending discrimination. Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams were able to destroy its legitimacy, but showing how it failed to look at pertinent information such as credit history.
The fraudulent study supposedly showed blacks being passed over in higher numbers than whites. What was also left unsaid was that Asians did better than whites.
Here's an old Walter Williams column that touches on it: http://www.gmu.edu/departments/economics/wew/ar...
It turns out very similarly to the supposed feminist claim around the same time that men watching the Super Bowl became troglodytic and hurt women. I remember Charlie Gibson trumpeting that one on his morning show.
Here's more background information that cites Stan Liebowitz's informative NYT article: http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisrevie...

Outgoing Finnish CEO and president of Nokkia says his country needs more economic risk-taking. Important to say in a country that overly embraces security.

I thought you might like this, which I culled from Garrison Keilor's Writers' Almanac on Honoré de Balzac: "All happiness depends on courage and work."
Keep up the good work, mate. Just lay off the evolutionary psychology. I thought Ed Crane was against it, at least in the early 1990s when his friend Charles Murrary was working on his now notorious book with R.J. Herrnstein.
Perhaps your being the Robert Wright of the Cato Institute is a sign of things to come.
