John, I bought a flat iron steak yesterday, too! I don't know what night I'll cook it yet but when I do, I'll let you know.

We've seen the movie and when we saw this skit, we cracked up. It's absolutely hilarious and my husband hasn't stopped with the milkshake line since. It's nearly unbearable around here lol :)
BTW, Daniel Day Lewis was so deserving of his Oscar for that performance. It really was outstanding.

I love brown rice but I don't always have time to cook it so I end up using the boil-in-bag brown rice. I have a big jar of basmati brown rice that I need to start using up so I think I'll try your recipe here...it sounds great!

I boycotted SFM not long after it bought out Bi-Lo because the prices became ridiculously high. Case in point, my Weight Watcher fudge bars which at SFM were $5.25 a box and at Krogers I find them on sale for $3.99. Even Kroger's regular price of $4-something isn't as high. I found most of their products to be overpriced. SFM is closer to my house, too, but I've since gotten use to driving on over to Krogers. The 40% discount is worth checking into, though ;~)
I wonder what will become of the SFM building now? Is another grocery buying them out?

I simply must own one of these. I get paid this week and I already have the onions. I bought a mandoline last year that I never use because I'm so afraid of cutting myself and making a bloody mess. This think looks relatively harmless. Except to the onion ;~)
