Yes, I am. Gluten and lactose intolerant. Gluten = wheat flour, mostly. So, I can't eat most commercially produced cakes and cookies. Oh well. Rice flour, glutenous rice flour (no gluten in that, despite the name!), corn flour and potato starch ftw!

There is a flourless cupcake? That means there's a cupcake I can eat. Joy~! So there is something I can eat if and when I go back. =^^=

Black-and-white emails, phone calls, meetings... bzuh? but where's the fun in that? Jokes aside... I just find it kinda sad. Have you heard about that fiasco regarding the "Negarakuku" rap? It's a video on youtube by a M'sian student studying in Taiwan and it mocks the current situation in M'sia. So much for parody.

I had 2 weeks off at the end of June/beginning of July. I go on holiday properly at the end of the year, starting in mid-Nov, which goes on until mid-Feb the next year. NZ unis tend to stint on hols in the middle of the year. Oh, and I get a week off at the end of August. That'll be my mid-semester break. *cries* I started in July! Where's the time gone?

With regard to Datuk Rafiah Salim: What on earth? The way she addressed you guys, it sounded as if she was talking to a bunch of pre-schoolers, not young adults. Geez. And honestly, what is one supposed to do when one doesn't agree with the status quo, if not protest? Or does she want us to use a synonym for it? *blinks*

That aside, the whole talk does sound very good and I wish I'd been able to make it back to go for it. Such is life, I guess. As soon as I leave the country lots of really interesting things happen. Humbug. Being smack in the middle of my second sem doesn't help either. rar.

Ah, cup noodles your comfort food, eh? I can't eat them anymore because I've just discovered that I'm gluten-intolerant, so no more instant noodles for me. -.-" And not a word about all the yummy food here (like tim tams and squiggles and pods...) cause I can't eat them now. >.

OMG, you hadn't tried Pods until so late in the year? *bangs head on wall* Unbelievable! Unthinkable! If I ever come back, I'm bringing you every damn flavour of Pods there is! Well.... if I can fit them in my suitcase.... which I probably won't be able to do. -.-"

And you only had plain Tim-tams! What about the caramel type with chewy caramel in the middle? What about the Double Coat Tim-tams? What about the Black Forrest Tim-tams? What about the Mint Slices? What about all those other types of Tim-tams that I can't list here because they're so numerous I can't remember them? I believe there is a lemon cheesecake Tim-tam around. =^^= You must try them, if you haven't already!

A Moro Gold bar is a round chocolate bar with mousse in the middle ( I think it's a mousse, it's not a nougat but I can't quite remember what it is) and hokey-pokey bits around it. It's quite nice. =^^=

So. Much. Chocolate.

Just looking at it is making my sweet tooth ache! but, it's also making me hungry, and just having ended a maths lecture isn't helping! Argh!

I shall now go off to buy a Moro Gold bar to satisfy my chocolate craving. =^^=

Haha... The Taiwanese Student's Assocation is actually having a Mooncake Festival Celebration, and apparently they're selling mooncakes there. Only thing is, I was warned the mooncakes are really, really pricy. Like NZ$15 for a small one? 0_o
The sambal mooncake sounds quite nice, actually. Makes a change from all the sweet, sweet mooncakes. and for some reason, I can't stand green tea mooncakes. Can't quite figure out why. ^^"

Wow... you gone bananas girl? Just kidding... you know, if not for the fact that I'm currently on a sugar high from a friend's birthday I'd end up with a pretty bad banana craving too. No nice banana goodies like that here, although we do get bananas every day in the hostel fruit bowl. Not even banana cake. >.

So that's what happened to your blog! I just thought you were having server problems when your page wouldn't appear... I doubt I'd have been able to see the Arabic site because I was using the University computer system...
