Yeah yeah, "I'm not a racist but everyone else is, so Obama can't win".
I read the book. And I know, because of that book, that Obama isn't a racist. Or a muslim. This will get fine-tooth-combed for the general election, and the truth will out.
I believe this because I am a typical white person, and I know a lot of typical white people, including Republicans. None of them don't love that book.

My favorite part of the debate was when H herself brought up the Texas surrogate dude freezing up on Matthews. Then I knew O was going to clobber her with his record of accomplishments, and he did. I was actually hoping someone would bring that up and give him the chance, but I didn't know she would have the gall to do it herself - as though he would just concede that he's done nothing!

It's going to be all mushy now: "My heart is full" "I found my voice" and something about people being invisible - she used to use that and she just yanked it back off the shelf. Somebody up there posted a list of Obama's Senate accomplishments, but don't forget what he did in Illinois, especially that death penalty reform that made murder confessions have to be videotaped in order to be admissible in court - confessions AND interrogations. Obama is credited by everyone involved with getting this passed, because he negotiated long and hard with prosecutors and cops - and got them to endorse it. Speaking as a former criminal defense attorney, that is huge, to get these people to agree. That is a solid example of "bridging the divide" - it's not just blather. It gets important things done, and improves the working atmosphere. It's a rare and crucial skill and neither Clinton has it. They just compromise [give away the store] and spin.
