in We’re dots on a dot on AstronomyNotes.net
Yeah, totally agree. So far, the Earth is the only planet which is found to have living things, and we are those. We are given the life to contribute to the world, instead of having wars here and there. It is something childish that people killing the same family members each others. Protect the Earth is what we should do, not to argue one and others who is right or wrong, and who is going to be responsible on that. It's everyone's obligation.

Where was your location? We're "clouded" just after observing for 2 hours.[/quote]
In Segamat. I just have a narrow escape from the flood. Luckily, the flood didn't happen in my area. But, it happened at the lower location. Haha...

Yeah, I watch the live transmission too, launched at 9.22pm of 10/10/07. I was so excited to the transmission. I get to know that before the Soyuz TMA-11 was launched, the electric current, telephone line, and everything near the launch pad has been cut off, in order not to disrupt the wave which is so important to keep the communication on-call with the cosmonauts in the craft.

in T minus 22: Malaysia First Astronaut Blasts Off! on AstronomyNotes.net
It's a proud of Malaysian that we have an astronaut to represent our country to outerspace eventually. Hopefully, it will soon instill the interest of astronomy in Malaysia. (So we can have more opportunity for certain jobs later:D)
Just like what you have mentioned above, I altered the question to be "When will our country own the technology to send astronaut to space?". Hopefully, in the coming date, our country may own it and I hope I was one of them who generate it. Haha...

in Have You Ever Heard The Sun? on AstronomyNotes.net
That's amazing! Just feel like we are just above the Sun closely when listening to the sound.
But, we can only either watch video clips or listen to the sounds only. If we can mix these two features, that should be more interesting!

So, next time you have to use Shieldtox Mosquito Coil! Haha...
Anyway, I came to the situation like you before too. That's terrible, especially my surrounding is full of trees. That makes more mosquitoes to be there...

I hope so. Haha... I just have the initial idea to make a trip under the Math & Science Societies of my school. I have to get the approment from the teacher too. My school is quite troubling, a lot of things have to do even make a short-distance trip.
So sad, no photographing is available in MIA2007, even with the camera integrated mobile...[-(

The Moon on the date is almost full and it's easy to be observed as it reflect much more light from the Sun. However, I got a comment/suggestion from my friend said that don't keep on eye in the telescope to observe the Moon more than 30 seconds, as the Moon reflects a relatively high percentage of sun rays, especially when the Full Moon.
Best regards.

That's where I saw from the newspaper few days ago after the discoveries of this planet. The research from China has given us this answer that this planet wouldn't be suitable for living.:d

in Most Earthlike Planet - Gliese 581c on AstronomyNotes.net
However, because of the gravity between 581C and its parent star is too strong, causes one of the faces heading to the parent star, and another face is heading to another side. This causes some places are always in daytime, another are always night time.

Where can you get the telescope from? I can't find any distributor of telescopes in Segamat. Therefore, it's hard to choose and buy a telescope here...
