He should be hammered on this.

this explains why Obama wrote that letter to the stations about the NRA ads, but NOT the McCain ads.

our message is not aimed at Obama worshipers- or McCain worshipers for that matter.

It is aimed at people who just want to vote for the best candidate.

You should listen to this clip from the Howard Stern show.

One of his people was interviewing people, asking them whom they will vote for in the election, and why. The answers are very revealing.

Foreigners who object to the war in Iraq also objected to the 12 years of sanctions

Rent control is politically popular.

The best way to end it is to phase it out gradually, by only ending rent control for future rental units. this will increase incentives to build new housing units while not increasing incentives from current renters to oppose the legislation.

Alan Dershowitz was pointing out that torture does sometimes produce accurate information, so the idea that torture does not produce accurate information should not be used as an argument against it.

Our laws prohibit the use of torture by our armed forces. Furthermore, there is no moral justification to use torture on someone who has not been convicted of any wrongdoing. That is the argument against torture.

There should be no restrictions on water use. People should be able to buy all the water that they can afford.

And people should be able to ask whatever price in exchange for their water.

If you think we are running out of water, then why is there still plenty of bottled water on the store shelves?

The best solution does not involve restricting the use of water, but simply allowing sellers to ask for the price that they believe will maximize profit.
