I have a fresh install of WindowsXP Pro and IE7. I've tried repairing the install, does not work. In IE7-Tools- there is a Send to OneNote Settings option, which seems to say that it's installed.
Please advise,

Thanks!
Van

Re: What Makes a Building Green?

To help you explore the issue, check out Simon Guy and Graham Farmer's "Reinterpreting Sustainable Architecture: The Place of Technology" in the Journal of Architectural Education, Vol. 54, Issue 3 - Feb 2001, p140-148.

It identifies six alternative logics of ecological design-- eco-technic, eco-centric, eco-aesthetic, eco-cultural, eco-medical, and eco-social-- and explores the relationships and perspectives on what makes a building green. Very insightful.

Unfortunately cannot be accessed online for free, although can be purchased at

http://www.emeraldinsight.com/Insight/viewConte...>

I recommend going to your neighborhood library or using some TreeHugger charm to obtain it. Well worth the effort.

Cheers

Re: TreeHugger 2.0 Sneak Peek and Request for Comments

I think TH should strive for a cleaner, bolder interface.

Be strategic. This is one of my favorite blogs to read, but I feel like it's been too cluttered with every possible ad squeezed into every corner, ditracting from your powerful soul: a portal dedicated to a new idea, a new movement, a new lifestyle that embraces technology, business, AND sustainability.

I would agree with many of Andrew's comments from above. www.springwise.com is my reference, one of the lovliest and simpliest designs i've seen, and add the TH TV on the main page kind of like espn.com has it on the side.

For your ads, consider rethinking your format and perhaps charging more $ for fewer but prime space. Have the ads in select sections, ie. the solar backup in the "Lifestyle" section, or American Apparel in the "Fashion" section or GE ads in the "Power" section, or Toyota ads in the "Transportation" section.

Yes, I think that TH gets that much traffic and is that popular and is worth higher prices.

Yes, you guys have been doing a great job.

And yes, I think TH is ready to make a jump to premier internet blog.

Your hard work is always appreciated with our warmest feelings. Keep up the excellent job!
