By the time you ask someone 'If you don’t mind, can I ask you 2 questions? One is this & the other is....', the person would long be gone! :D Being 'technically correct' wouldn't help always

And we're here to make sure that 20% plus an additional not-quite-a-bug bugs troubles you too :D
btw, nice new look but appears a little too barren. But don't let that worry you. I find fault with everything :)

I haven't seen the movie but there are quite a few luxury trains in India. Check this link for the list of such trains operating in Inda and may be, you can tell us which one closely resembles the one in the movie :)
Someday, I'm gonna travel in one of those trains, even if that means I have to start saving up from now til I turn 60 something :D

in Nano thoughts on thrattle
Nano would bring in safety of pedestrians...but only after several accidents and incidents? It means 'The Nano' will first increase the number of accidents on the road and then much later would bring peace n order on the road? That doesn't really sound like a "positive" impact to me? May be I should go into hibernation now. Once the "accidents n incidents" era is over and the "ordered-traffic" era sets in, please wake me up :)

yeah, the GNOME dictionary, by default, connects to the internet but you can tweak it to connect to a local dictionary server (check this ). It would be an one time effort (and if you can't take that effort, go back to Windows!) but once you get it working, it would be way less cumbersome than running WordWeb through Wine. I personally loved the GNOME dictionary that I missed when I switched to Windows...
If you think what WordWeb is doing isn't fair, how fair is it, running a program designed for Windows on Linux? Isn't that an insult to all the Windows programmers world-wide? huh? :P

Why not just use a dictionary written for Linux instead of loading WordWeb with 'Wine' and getting it drunk? I find the GNOME dictionary way more user friendly than WordWeb (and more stable too).
Wine makes sense only for those applications that don't have a Linux equivalent. Antony Lewis is right - sensible people don't see this message :P

Marriage: A MOU to establish mass production facilities...
Is marriage an MOU to establish mass production or control the mass production? :D
Fate: A blame about the late realization of one’s inability to fair well.
my 2 cents: fate deals you the cards (the house!) and you decide how to play the hand. If things don't go well, it could either mean the cards dealt to you were bad or you played badly...most likely the latter but sometimes the former too :)
btw, I strongly agree with Nithya :D

Hell infested with bacterium
that was funny...
...but you are trying to prove Love is a bacterium by justifying why Love is not a virus and prove marriage is Hell by justifying why marriage is not Heaven...and that line of argument doesn't fit.
Let's say a guy picks a flower from the temple and throws it into the gutter. Does that mean the flower never came from the temple? That's how marriages are. A marriage is made in heaven, meaning to be good, but just cos we people can't handle it right and make it bad doesn't mean it wasn't from Heaven. Remember the adage, 'a bad workman blames his tools'? that's exatcly what you're doing when you say 'marriage is hell'

true but you can sure have your privacy by assuming God is too busy to be watching you...remember the classic joke, "Take all cookies you want, God is watching the apples". While there are some who'd like to think God is always by their side, some want it otherwise. Before you ask, I belong to the former category even if that means sacrificing my privacy :)

@adiya,
Open-Source / Linux is not a Cost reduction formula
well, if I can do the same job - that Windows can do for me - with Linux/Open Source, at a free or much lesser cost, then that is cost reduction. Atleast, that's what I can infer from what my dictionary says is 'cost' and 'reduction'.
developing stable application
now, probably stability has a different meaning in your world but here, having my Windows hang up every now and then for absolutely no apparent reason is NOT stability, let alone the applications built over it. You probably need to use Linux a little longer to get a feel of what stability is.
Btw, if you want a paperless egovernance system, the first step towards it is cost-cutting. I don't think the tax money that we pay would be sufficient to satisfy all the politicians (and their immediate families...in some cases, two immediate families) and also pay Microsoft for the OS and the respective application vendors for each application needed. In such a (political) scenario, moving towards Linux is definitely a big step...and a positive one at that!
@Ranjhith,
hmm IP's do give away a lot of information don't they? anyway, what you thought before and what you inferred now are both right :)
btw, please, please don't spam-filter out my comment! :)
