I already use a few of the ones you listed. The tip on making sub assemblies to dissolve is great. I had been thinking about doing that with the welding flanges I use when working on our machines piping. As usual, you are pumping great and useful information for the rest of us.

Re: Finding Clarity in Isolation

I like using the isolate command a lot to create a variety of display states to use in my drawings. It keeps me from having to do a lot of section views that generate a lot of drawing overhead in my view. It is very a very useful tool once you get use to using it.

Re: Best Out of Office Replies

I like #7 the best since my job does seem like a 3 ring circus at times.

Re: How to Load SolidWorks Files Faster with SyncBack

Hey Josh, how about a link to the SyncBack program! Please!

Re: Why Smart Numbers are Dumb: SolidWorks Guidelines for File Names

Well Josh, this would be a great way to start a numbering system if you have a new company. Here at BWCO we have a system on the AS400 for Mapics called ERS . This system is setup to automatically pull the next number when you type in the 1st three digits of the series. It makes it very difficult to keep similar parts together. Perhaps when we get the graphical verion of Mapics it will go away and we can get a numbering system setup similar to this.

Re: How Big Do You Make Something to Move a Boat?

I have seen this on one of the shows on cable. I think it was Modern Marvels.<br>It is a really cool bit of engineering. I would not mind making a trip to go see it.
