That's nice, but what about my other social network friends? There should be something that allows you to IM with your friends from myspace and facebook too!

Don't you think it's weird it doesn't support Facebook?! It's the most important social network these days.
Anyway, I'll stick with My 8hands, that don't only support every network I use, but also organize all my friends into a desktop app, where I get live notifications as well.

So you really didn't like it?
I just had it installed like a week ago and I love it!
I guess my user experience was the exact opposite of yours- I actually found this app extremely timesaving.
I always want to stay updated, so for me, it's better that 8hands will let me know what's new instead of me checking again and again every 5 minutes. that octopus is doing the checking for me.
I do have to agree about the reply. I was and still am disappointed that there's no reply option.
Let's hope it'll change when it'll go beta.
