Why not use some bookmarking site like delicious to put your links to "discovered content" on and then use some plugin for your site to pull them down and put them in the sidebar?

the biggest advantage I see to using git is that I can do local version control. This is a big deal for me if I'm away from my central repository for any length of time on a trip. I've pretty much switched to using git on all of my own projects.

I always thought there was a legal path to citizenship through legal immigration via ellis island. What makes anyone think that the current rush of illegal immigrants would follow the rules any more than they follow the current laws?

I think it was a fair question, it was worded and delivered extremely poorly but it was a reasonable question that would be put forward by pretty much anyone thats not part of the Ron Paul "army". Besides it gave him a good softball question to hit out of the park. The only thing that really disturbed me about the whole incident is that during most of the rebroadcasts of the debate that fox has shown they edit out the whole incident.

its not just the damage to existing programs that I fear the most, or even the fact that I might have to take an unpaid vacation. Its the loss of the brains and the impact this will have on future students of physics in this country.

I wouldn't say the conservatives didn't get anything done... I'd say the stuff they got done probably wasn't considered a positive thing to most sensible individuals.
