Esther told me a long ago that a vertical search engine is a way to win in this industry. Sounded like she could predict the above exit already :) We have a platform technology to easily create those verticals. We started with a search for kids.

The market opportunity is there - Did we need a windows user interface in our PCs instead of a command line one back in 90s? It took some time to get used to but it's a UI that we have now! Why would a search UI still remain in the past century?

Yes, it's powered by Yahoo! Image Search. Our Russian service at http://www.quintura.ru
pulls images from Yandex. It can be from any search engine's index.
