I understand how frustrating some businesses like this can be. I was pulling my hair similarly w/ BSNL's broadband service and am very happy to have finally switched to Airtel Rs.750 128kbps unlimited plan.

WordPress pages are stored in wp_posts table.

All pages' post_status column values will be static.

That will have both advantages (efficienct code, modern features) and disadvantages (backward compatibility w/ plugins, themes). I think the developer community of Drupal is much more than that of WP. So they can afford to choose that model.

No, Foxit is not the best free alternative to Acrobat. It is http://www.docu-track.com/home/prod_user/pdfx_v.... Has many more features than Foxit. I love the tabs support.

Paint.NET is better than GIMP. If you have to give it to GIMP, at least make it GimpShop.

Feed Reader is way better (more features) than Google Reader.
