in Really Really Really a Store on Perfectly Shaped World Blog
Thanks much, and that was sort of what I meant. This is a blog, which covers topics of interest to visitors to our seven stores (soon to be eight!), but I fear the confusion carries across to many web stores, not just mine. Traditional approaches seem to be faltering, so I'm looking toward what the visitors themselves actually want to see.

Yep, you've caught an essence. Everything, no matter how small, contributes to the total picture that forms around each of us.

in Seth Godin and Twitter on Jim's Marketing Blog
Seth Godin is one to listen to, in as many places as possible. Not only does he 'get' the big picture but quite often his hand is holding the brush that's painting it.
A small change in approach can do wonders to the Twitter experience. Commit to using the words 'you' and 'your' twice as often as the words 'I' or 'me' in tweets. To do so, we need to listen and respond to what others are saying, which breeds involvement and interaction.

in Are You A Loser Or A Failure? on Jim Kukral
Well said. Failure is the swift kick in the pants that, when felt, should move one a bit further along the path to success.

in Twitter Swarm: Motrin v. Moms on odd time signatures
I am still finding it difficult to believe that a major pharma brand would approve something like this ad that appears designed to mock and offend a wide slice of their demographic. Snide doesn't sell - in fact, in this case, snide may well cost them dearly. My Motrin bottle is in the trash, and the trash goes out tomorrow morning.

in Billboards in the Desert on Self-Promotion for Smart People
Very true. Too often social networking gives us a false sense of familiarity. You're not all mind-readers. Besides, if I don't say I used to develop databases in dBase II or commuted up and down the 405 through LA twice a day on a Honda Aspencade, how would anyone know about it? (Not that I would be able to do so today - it's just an example.)

in Once again, Twitter’s death is laid out. Once again, users will fail to notice on VentureBeat
A strange call to action, for Twitter to do more, when a flurry of collateral services has sprung up all around it, doing the 'doing more' part. I stay because it is simple.
