in 4chan Versus Twitter: Round One on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
"I think it's unlikely they are related, the 4Chan attack used newly formed accounts (for the most part) and by the sounds of it at least some of the accounts suspended are old accounts."
These stories are over exaggerated and the whole scheme is a deliberate attempt to gain more press for 4chan, so the admin can make some extra money from the increased traffic. The users are mostly troubled teenagers so it's unlikely they realize they are being used as spammers, instead they see themselves as rulers of the internet. The forum is anonymous based so who knows who started it all (the admins of the site cough).
"In February 2009 the Washingon Post reported that moot had attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia for a few semesters before dropping out. It reported that moot was living with his mother while looking for a way to make money from owning 4chan."

Websites like urbandictionary and lingoz do not take ownership of the content added by users.

Ownership
You will continue to own all the rights you may have with respect to your content. This means that your rights concerning the Content you have contributed to us will not be claimed by Babylon as the property of Babylon.

Copyright and Ownership
Any words, definitions, or other information (collectively, "Content") posted on the Website shall remain your sole and exclusive property, and you shall be solely responsible for your Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it.
What they do is receive a non-exclusive right to use the content.
The content submitted by users on Leximo does not belong to the public domain. Whoever adds the content is the expressed copyright holder. By putting Leximo's content under CC - Share alike license you are simply forcing Leximo contributors to grant the use of the copyrighted material as long as the content used in other work attributes the work to the original author by linking to the page on leximo.org.
Leximo also receives a non-exclusive right to use the content added by their members. The CC-by-sa license simply promotes the linking back to Leximo by anyone else who uses your members copyrighted content.
You cannot say that this does not help Leximo in the long run. Why do you think that Wikipedia became so popular? Linking (by attribution) increases a sites search rankings and also drives traffic back to the main site.
You quote "people contribute and Babylon gains from their work", does this not also apply to Leximo?
Every site gains from people contributing...
I support copyleft licenses but I think the cc-by-sa license is made out to be more free than it really is.

I never thought about the fact that a CC license would increase search engine rankings. Thats definitely a good thing hahaha.

So, how would a site like leximo be more of a "social dictionary" than say a site like lingoz.com?
leximo
Well first of all, dictionary sites like Lingoz.com and Word.sc have pretty much been abandoned by their creators http://siteanalytics.compete.com/leximo.org+lin...
In addition, all words contributed belong to Babylon. As one user put it, people contribute and Babylon gains from their work.
However words contributed to Leximo all belong to the public domain, licensed through Creative Commons. All contributions are part of a community.
Our vision ALC is to add interactivity to dictionaries by letting users interact with other users through profiles and groups. Sort of like a study group for languages. Leximo obviously isn't at that level yet, but with the help of language enthusiasts like you, Leximo will come closer. :-)

I wouldn't go so far as to say "the world’s first social dictionary"... did you do any research before making this claim?

Better theory, Peter absorbs Sylar's powers.
Therefore Sylar becomes the nice guy we saw in the future during Volume 3, and Peter becomes the hardass we've seen in the future so many times

Thats a great point. I never thought of that.
I loved how badass Sylar was in this episode. He really showed that armed forces team who's boss!
Also, I hope Hiro gets his powers back. Clinging onto Ando for fame really makes him seem childish. I loved how Hiro was during Season 2. It seemed like he really grew up and wasn't as much of a dork.

We just call Dick Advocaat simply "Advokat" and Guus Hiddink "Goos". But that's a good point, he's name is sure cocky ;-) Gus said "it's not enough for him", he wants to beat the crap out of his own country squad. What a man he is!
Also watch Toni and Co (- Pirlo and Gattuso) getting pounded by Spain. Coming soon. :-)

You know what I like about rocketboom? It was a success by accident. They didn't over-think the show structure, they just got on there and pretended to report goofy shit. I think you've forgotten what having a vblog is all about. Being yourself, making mistakes, being spontaneous and having a structure without structure. Please don't waste peoples download time with predictability and gibberish. Shake shit up and be yourself about it. No need to reinvent the wheel with what people want to see. Good luck
pretty dumb man. that site loses money as traffic increases. Ads come nowhere near the cost of bandwidth. If a site like that could turn a profit there would be a lot of copycat sites jumping on the bandwagon as it is moot is awesome but an incredible business failure.
"troubled teenagers so it's unlikely they realize they are being used as spammers"
either trolling or a giant retard.
