It's unfortunate how this happened. And I certainly feel for the folks at GSK blogging away and not getting traffic or comments--I think we can all relate to writing a great post and then not getting any comments or links--I still haven't left a comment and probably won't. Why? Eh, not really interested in the topic. What can I say about the product and since I was an industry insider for a long time (seven years), I'm not unbiased.

I think asking friends to visit a client's or a friend's blog to encourage them is fine. I think it's just how you do the asking.

Re: Where do I even begin?

Lee, I'm sorry to say I was the first one to find that bug ... after writing two posts for an hour. I'll comment on your v3 post in a second, I'm glad you tried that one, but what can I say ... it's an awful bug that no matter how much testing and trying (we aren't the only ones who had this happen to them), we weren't able to reproduce it consistantly.

That being said, we're going to be removing v2 very soon ... v3 is the next version of the product and has the best new features.

Thanks again for trying ... now on to your v3 post ... see ya over there.

Re: I can’t leave this little thing alone

Hi Lee, it's me again. We'll definitely work on getting the download requirements better documented and work on a better installer for the Java dedection.

For the DropPad (that's the square thing) you should be able to move it (I like the lower left corner myself) ... I will follow up with the developer about the moving problem (we'll probably need to contact you directly for that).

I like your suggestion of moving over v2 settings, I can't promise we'll have a solution, but we know that it's important and we would like to get something working.

We appreciate all your feedback. We really do. Love to know more about why you WP blog wasn't detected ... we try to auto-detect as many blogs as possible.

So ... one blog editor company has entered the fray. Let me have your comments and feedback.
